I am removing my TH350 with the engine in my 69' Firebird.
I want to make sure I am not forgetting anything... please talk to me like I am an idiot. You won't hurt my feelings! Here is what I think I need to do: -I will drain the fluid. -I disconnected some sort of linkage bracket connected to the tranny on the drivers side. It was not connected to anything and I don't know what it is? -I will disconnect the various brackets and connections on the passenger side of the tranny. - I will disconnect the cooler lines to the radiator and from the tranny. - I disconnected the kick down cable from the carb. - I removed the vaccum line to the tranny from the car. - I will unbolt from the crossmember. Obviously the drive shaft will come off and I will pull the yoke. Then away we go? |
