Removing engine in 68 that has RAM Air Exhaust Manifolds
I have a 68 Tempest (GTO clone wagon) that currently has the stock D port Ram Air exhaust manifolds mounted to the engine and I'm getting ready to remove the engine. I've got the exhaust pipes disconnected from the manifolds, but the manifold to engine bolts are rusted tight. Is there enough clearance to just yank the engine with the manifolds attached? It would be much easier to remove the bolts afterwards when I have more room to work with my bag of bolt removal tricks.
It looks like the engine will clear to me. The car does have the original A/C setup, but I don't think the suitcase presents any issues. What say those of you that have done it?  Regards, Old Joe
