There's a point at which the knuckle can get too tall. If you look at all the people doing subframes or parts for stock frames, most aftermarket knuckles in the systems are coming in between 1.2" to 1.5" taller than the GM short spindle.

That seems to be the engineering sweet spot for negative camber gain without causing stuff you don't want on a street car.
