Nonsense. ALL Pontiac V-8 distributors interchange from 1955-1981 with no exceptions, except for the 455SD and Ram Air V. Some people , for some reason, think that some Pontiacs rotate the opposite direction, that is not true either. There are differences in the distributors over the years yes, but they will interchange. Remember the later 301s and 265s do not have vacumn advance. and yes, recurve them to your application too.
