I ran a compcams 282 solid cam in my 400 in a 79 10th Ann. TA. 236/236 at .050 with 1.5 rockers on the intake and 1.65 on the exhaust. With 8.5 to 1 compresson home ported "96" d-port heads and performer rpm intake, RA III exhaust manifolds. It would run 13.1-13.3 at 106-107mph with 2.2-2.3 60 footers. I thought it was a great cam.
