UNCLE ... I must strongly disagree. One of the five had some pitting on the inside of the rim and will not impact whether it holds air. The other four had no pitting on them (unless you've got x-ray vision that I don't have.) They looked finished fine to me - but then again I'm not a concours show judge. But for a grand total of under $100.00 I can blast them again, prime them, and finish them to show condition - all five wheels and then I'm into a set of 5 wheels that are considered matching numbers (3 are one date and the other two are another date from within one week) by anyone's standards. And if you think you could get that set on Ebay for any less than $800 - $1,000 just 6 months ago lotsa luck.
The totally rebuilt RAM AIR 3 heads were asking $800.00 which could have been bought for $700.00 Try getting those for that price in the past year.
No doubt ... check out ebay / Norwalk / or anywhere else. Prices are coming down ... whether the dealers are willing to admit it or not.
