use the plastic inserts that come with the gaskets
top holes front and back, thats what they are there for. usually orange color in a little paper envelope. you will see a corresponding countersunk area around the bolt hole in the head

I bought Mr Gaket gaskets and they do not have the plastic inserts

to the Forums.Lacking the locating bushings that are included with Fel-Pro intake gaskets, apply a small amount of RTV around the water crossover ports and the rear of the gaskets, and stick the gaskets in place on the heads. Also RTV the rubber "O" ring that seals the intake to the timing cover in place on the intake. Once the RTV has set up suffciently, install the intake, being careful to not disturb the gaskets. Les
