$78k, only $197,000.00 less than his opening eBay bid.

That's it I'm done watching B-J. Wait all night to see this car only for them to skip over another nice Pontiac...@#$%! It's got to be a conspiracy.

He couldn't buy it back. He's got a sick little girl at home and the doctor's bills are rolling in.

Well the seller actually got $63,000 for it since he had to pay a 10% sellers fee.

I agree! Waited all night and then they go to commercial. You could see it coming. And could they have aired more commercials during that break?

Pontiacs get no respect. That's a shame it only sold for 70k. Worth way more than that.

Oh, but they got us back in time to see that crate motor Camaro POS! (ok, it was an RS/SS and pretty nice too).

Dollars have been off tonight, lots of deals going out the door - guess we've got another year to buy low.

Ron, your car deserved more!!!

Default Barrett-Jackson Phone Number

For all who is interested B-J's phone number is 480-421-6694. They then gave us Speed Channel's phone at 704-731-2222. We already called and complained. It would be a shame if they got their phone lines jamed with complaint's.

Same here. I just sent them a comment via e-mail about how much I think they suck now and that I'm done with them. I said if it would have been a Camaro or Corvette they would have waited to go to break.

Damn Barrett Jackson can eat chit

Yes, unbelievable indeed!! I was looking forward to that. Waited/watched 3.5 hours of coverage to see it cross the block, only to have them cut to a commercial break (an extra long one, I might add), come back from commercial only to show the top sales of the past two days & then briefly mention that it went for $70K, but not show ANY of the actual auction action or commentary once it was on the block! LAME

@#$%n' Speed channel! I have been watching all night to see that car go across the block and they go to commercial. If it's not a Camaro, Vette or a Hemi they could care less.

Duh. I didn't know this was the car that sold for $70k and started a thread in '69. A real shame about the commercials and double shame it sold for less than a small block '69 Camaro RS/SS.

But I'm still going to watch, love seeing everything.

Three and a half hours for a @#$@#%@ commercial!?!??! My wife took the remote away from me as I was cursing the TV. I'm SICK of the Poncho persecution.....BJ, car shows, swap meets, car calendars....it never ends! I'm selling everything I have and buying a 69 Camaro so everyone will love me.

I would have thrown the digital converter cable box out the backdoor and unloaded my pistol into it after this happening twice in a row with coverage breaks. It costs right at $100 month to get the full package in order to get SpeedVision in my area. I almost bucked up and had it installed this time for BJ. Fock them and their advertisers too -lol. Why do they even need advertisements with the gang raping they already do with 8 and 10 % fees.

The Car world hates us for having PHS & the Killerest Cars ever built to top it all off. It's a conspiracy all the way.

If Greg is in Scottsdale, I'm sure he or the owner bought the Car back at that low of a number. I bet he's smiling his @ss off if he got it back for 70k. What a screaming deal ! Investors must be lazy or late getting to the show.

It's not a great scenario for owner AMX either way though, whether he bought it back and paid BOTH fees to BJ - or let it go for that number. Hate it didn't get a better day to go across the block.

Would you be happy to sell a car for less than you paid for it...then have to pay a percentage on top of that? No thanx! Someone got a deal...again!!! Ron BTW...How badly did that "commercial"thing suck? A plastic pig before break and a eurobox on spray when they returned!!! We got hosed!!!

Damn that car looked good under those lights! Net $62K on a $74K investment. Win some, loose some. My goal was to hold it for two years and then sell. We'll see how that works out. The GTO was on stage about 3.5 minutes. The '68 427/435 'Vette in front of me sold for mid $70's ($72K?) and garnered close to eight minutes. My '71 Charger R/T was virtually pushed off the stage because it was still running @ 5:00 when Speed Channel went on air. Less than 2 minutes on that car; and I bought it back. The GTO met my "cut loss" number. Greg was there with his friend. I don't believe he was the winner. Nice guy by the way!
