Beef up your pedal. I had to bend my pedal so it wouldnt bottom out on the floor. So I could get more travel on the cable. Lead foot! http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f4...S/100_0159.jpg

It seems like trying to install any kind of aftermarket set-up for the first time is going to take just as long or longer than putting a stock replacement back in. The job is halfway done now anyway. Besides, this is not the kind of job your going to have to do often or ever again.
