What is the static compression ratio of your 455? The compression ratio has EVERYTHING to do with how well it will idle, and behave at lower rpm's.....Cliff

Guessing around 11:1.....I have a set of 16's and 670's and both sets of heads have 75 cc chambers. Also running flat top KB pistons. Sort of planned on running 50/50 fuel since it is just a weekend war machine. Do all these numbers sound about right to you?
