IA II block, Forged crank, Forged H-beam rods
SD ported Edelbrock wide ports flowing 370+ (non heart shape chamber)

SD massaged Victor intake.
Pro Systems 1050 Dominator.
Ultradyne solid roller custom SD spec .730 lift
Doug's headers Jet Hot coated 1 7/8" primary 3.5" collector (yeah I know they're too small - I'm working on that!)
MSD 6AL w/2 step
Reverse manual TH-350 w/brake.
Moser 12 bolt 3.72 boxed upper arms, SSM slappers, otherwise bone stock
30" x 10.5" Hoosier slicks

Best time to date:

60' - 1.435
330' - 4.118
1/8 - 6.343
MPH - 110.11
1000' - 8.280
1/4 - 9.930
MPH - 137.52

Notes: Left @ 3200 on brake (usual 4800). Had to pedal on that pass - got out of the groove due to violent launch!
Just figured out after 15 passes that this 540 likes to rev to at least 7200. Dave Bisschop told me it would. Tossed the 6500 pill in the garbage! Not even turning 6000 through lights so obviously, I will be swapping the 3.72 gears for 4.10 and possibly even 4.3 and will run with open headers. I fully expect to be posting at least a 9.7X pass by next week.

Friday night they had the last "midnight madness" race at gateway and went. Only got 2 passes in, but I have a new best E.T. ! Last week I took the car to my engine builder, and we worked on the rear suspension trying to get it to stop wheel hopping. It worked! I ran a 10.78 at 131 mph, with a new best 1.56 60' ! For my car thats a huge improvement! Second pass I messed up and nearly stalled it on the line, so I didn't even push it that pass and went home. (plus I couldn't keep my eyes open! Too late for me) Big thanks to my engine guy!
