I bet there's a reason every one of those pictures was taken: parades, visiting a new town (or relatives), store grand openings, family vacations, somebody got a new car, first communion, etc. It's just not obvious to us, now, after all these years.

There is a thread called "Old Street Scenes" over at Yenko.net. I've been working my way through there and pulling out any where I can see a Pontiac in them.

I'm about 2/3's of the way through...
