Well guys, I finally got al the carburetion and ignition bugs worked out on my SD, and IT RIPS!

I love the car, and I'm taking it to it's first cruise-in / show next Saturday morning.

Need advice on repairing the inner buckles on my front safety belts though. Any parts out there? The buttons, etc. are gone! I feel NAKED (not a pretty picture, BTW) driving without a safety belt around me. Never mind the fact that I'll be asking to get a ticket!

They didn't have the correct plastic female recepticles but have the GM metal ones,I kept the busted ones with the springs in case someone wants to repro them for a 73,but the 74 are the metal ones right?

You know - I didn't even consider them because I thought they had to have "cores". But - if you were able to purchase the receptacles from them, maybe they'll have something that will fit and function OK for my SD. Mine has plastic buckles, BTW.

I didn't see any buckels listed for sale on theire website, but I'll give them a call anyway.

Thanks!

I'll shoot some pics tomorrow AM.

So - you're saying that you were able to purchase metal buckles that fit your existing outer harness from the Snake Oyl guys?
