I have to agree with Mike on this one.

But I do hate seeing TA 6.6 on any 77-81 TA shaker (that didn't come with it).

Enduro instead of Endura....I know that is close, but not close enough!

Apparently, my old 69 Firebird missed out on one of those rare "Enduro" noses...according to the ads I've seen over the years. There are two strikes on the one item. No Endura/Enduro on 69 Firebirds.

Oh, and now that I think about it, GTO stickers on a 70 Le Mans with a painted chrome bumper advertised as a GTO, or GTO Tribute.

well, it COULD have happened...acc to Bill Porter he first designed it that way, but it got 'cut' by upper mgmt for costs....it was supposed to be a one piece nose, they redesigned it with the cut V filler piece and headlight surrounds....wish Bill had persevered! lol

Buick style Rally rims with Snap on Pontiac "PMD" emblems in the middle on any Pontiac.

It's as if people don't realize that each division had their own style wheels. Pontiacs should have the Rallye II Rims on them, not the Buick ones.

VS.

It's not hard to tell the difference!

Yep, I wish BP had got that one through too Bjorn!
Have a look at the original AF/VK 69 Firebird ads...Art "smoothed" the nose. That looks a LOT better, that black rubber piece between the guard and headlight surround is uuugly.

A couple more Mike.

Red PMD Rally II centre caps on pre mid 1970 cars....more specifically 1969 and earlier cars.

Red Rally II Lug Nuts.

In regards to the infamous Buick decal, I wonder how many have been sold?
Would it be more acceptable if it was styled after the 455 HO decal perhaps?

How about the missuse of the word "restoration" in general. Restoration would indicate that something (a car in our case) was rebuilt to the way it was when new. Therefore, a 70 GTO claiming to be "restored" yet sits on 20" ghetto rims would be incorrectly described as "restored".

The other thing that cracks me up is when you see someone looking for NOS/correct valve stem caps for their "restored" car, yet they have an MSD box screwed to the inner fender/firewall with drywall screws. Or, they will have a big ole red top battery under the hood and they are searching for the correct knobs for their radio.
