Seeing Ron Genovese's 66 inspired me to post this pic. I was at my local track for a funday sunday and met a guy named Sam from Missouri... He took the photo and e-mailed it to me when he got back home . The miracle is that I got staged next to my friend ,Tony with his '63...and I think we were the only two Pontiacs (vintage) on the property....Gene

last run of the year....the stands were packed!.... only managed 8 runs all year! maybe I will make it to a pontiac event in 2011...

After having this car since June, 1988, this is my favorite pic so far... i will be buying new steelies for the rear( no chevy rallys!) ... the front rims are 1969 Firestone 15x4's that my uncle ran on his 69 Camaro... i decided to bring them back out...My Dad also ran them in the early '80s on his GTO(The one that Jeff Verdi has for sale)

Thanks Guys...it's been a process piecing it back together from being in storage.. I ran my buick for most of the year and just didn't make the time to get to the track with it...I need to do some more detailing, I want to put my GTO grille back in it and a steel bumper on the front...and a stick if the budget allows.
Jack, we basically got the car to hook up better....and it was cooler... we changed rear shocks, and got a front end alignment... I think I went a 9.01 that night I saw you at cecil.... Now that the car is running I am not sure what to do with it....I think I should have built a 275 car...... oh well.

Here is a pic from Oct 9,2010... The day it went two 1.578 60fts... It was runnin good until 1st rnd elims... bad miss a little before 2nd gear...probly started 4500rpms... i think it might be a spark plug... just put a set in before that wknd... maybe MSD? still dont know... will do more research closer to season... did check valvesprings for a broken one...all looked ok. checked distrib cap & rotor too, seemed ok...
