Thanks! I am going to have her running in less then a month. I am excited to get this thing on the road again.
Hopefully I will surprise a few unknowing cars with a "stock" appearing motor.

Well guys, I had the car towed to a local shop to have her finished up. The new fuel line is going to be installed, brakes adjusted, alignment, and some other final touches. I am hoping on Tuesday I will be cruising around once again!

Turns out I have spent the week working on the car LOL. It is done, except for wiring the ignition, and dropping in the distributor. Tomorrow I should have it fired up!
And maybe next Friday will be the first track day!

Well today was a complete failure. The MSD box decided to take a crap on me so I had to buy a new one. And in trying to start the car I figured out that my RobbMc fuel pump does not make contact with the fuel ecentric.
So I had to take out the pump, and send it back. Now I am out $240, with no fuel pump till at least the end of next week.

The MSD box is what cost $240. The pump was around $200, and I had purchased that awhile ago along with a 1/2 pickup. I really wanted to stay with a mechanical setup for simplicity purposes, and I didn't want the noise associated with an electric unit.

Well I installed a cheapo pump from Oreilly's just to see if it would work and it did. So the fuel problem was due to an issue with the RobbMc unit. I already have the faulty pump going back, and RobbMc will be sending me a new one.
I snapped a couple of quick pictures. Next post will hopefully be one of the first start of a 500HP Pontiac 400  !

Got it fired up today, and man did it sound nasty.. The car sounded extremely healthy. Brakes and exhaust are getting done tomorrow along with a few minor things.
Will be driving it this weekend!
