From only idle to 4,500 you say, the edelbrock performer or the holley short dual plane stealth is a good choice, if you were taking it upstairs in the rpm range 3,500-8,500 the performer rpm or victor jr open plenium is a awsome intake. We run a super victor jr on our 434 sb on our dirt late model, those are for big cube big rpm motors.
