Hey Jeff, my buddies from Texas were the #10 qual in X275 and #11 in another class. Little Orange Mustang from Triangle Speed Shop running a 281 ci mod motor with a single turbo. They had a blast as well. Congrats on the #1 spot in leaf spring. I watched on the net all day Sat and Sunday.

Those two boys (Daniel and Craig) grew up with my two girls. It's been wonderful to see what they have done with the car. They are great people. There dad and I have been friends for 30 plus years.....It does rev for sure....and for 281 ci sure does move. I think their best was 4.963 at 148 for this event. They won it last year in the 8.5 Class

The guy that had the car before them drove it into their shop in 1994, it had 104 miles on it and said make it fast. They said "how much do you want to spend?" He replied, that don't matter....lol

They bought the car from him a few years later when he rubbed it up against the gaurd rail....
