![]() That's the one track I haven't been to that I still want to see. Done both Daytona races, the Brickyard, Bristol, Dover, Pocono, & of course NHIS.

In front of your TV.
I went for the 1st time ever 2 years ago. Lockhart sounds familiar, wife & I sat fairly high just outside the end of pit row. It was fun for awhile. But it was way too cold, when the sun started down, I was miserable. Stayed and froze thru the 1st stoppage with virtually no info on what was going on (edit - this was the year the track broke up). When they stopped it a 2nd time, I shocked my wife and said let's go (she was a good sport to go, but not exactly the thrill of a lifetime for her). First sporting event I think I have ever left early, that includes HS stuff. People were streaming out the exits with us. We headed home, about 90 miles. Got there in time to watch the end on TV. I'll never go back. I'd rather spend my money doing the Speed Tech laps again. It was cold in Atlanta when I did it back in '05, but THAT was fun. http://www.speedtech500.com/ |

Let's see if we can't plan on that, Chris. Sounds like a BLAST!
