It's a dreary day here. Misty rain and only 62 degrees. Thankfully, we have a new central A/C and it's toasty warm inside.
Oh, I almost forgot, this is my restoration thread so I reckon I should post something about the car.
I haven't heard from Norman but I feel like the car is not too far from coming home. I spent 4 hours yesterday restoring the bucket seat tracks. I media blasted them, then i wire wheeled them. I painted them with cast blast then wrapped some paper around the tracks and painted the feet satin black.
It wasn't until I took pictures of the finished job that I noticed the release mechanisms are slightly different. Other than that, they are the same. I haven't installed the new knobs yet. I want to bolt the tracks to the seats and make sure they work first.
So, here are the latest totals with 4 hours labor and $112.00 for the GTO grab bar I got last week.

My Labor @449 hrs ................$8,980.00
Parts .................................$13,746.51
Outside labor ........................$7,801.00
Gifts ...................................$2,291.25

Total .................................$32,812.76
