Nothing new to report except Norman hit his head and has amnesia! He says he can't remember my car! I must have it too!
 Pete Serio is working his magic on my gauges and I am going to post a question or two in a separate thread before I buy some more parts. Y'all have a good one.

Y'all know this thread is 47 pages long now but, when I edit out all the "extras" so my lovely wife doesn't see them it will probably come in under 10!
It's been fun so far. Any bets on how many more replies before it comes home from paint? I am going out on a limb and saying 30.

Well, I wen to Columbus yesterday to take Norman some more money. He has sanded the interior down and has a few places to spot prime before he paints it. Then the outside will be ready. Any month now!
I checked the seat that was in the car and it had a spring on it so I took it off. I'll wire wheel it and hope it doesn't snap when I put it on the new seat. Other than that it's just wait and see. I'll update totals next week.

Back to the car. I took Norman $500.00 last week and I spent $12.79 for a can of vinyl dye to restore the inside rear view mirror bracket rubber. I also took the bracket to Norman so he could take it and my rear bumper to the chrome plater when he takes some more of his stuff.
Here are the latest totals: My labor at 449hrs ...........$8,980.00 Parts.............................$13,759.30 Outside Labor ..................$8,301.00 Gifts...............................$2,291.25 Total.............................$33,325.55

I'm gonna go out on a limb Phil and say your car will get paint right around St. Patrick's Day.... + or - 2 days either way. Saturday and Sunday don't count... unless Norman works on Saturday.

Actually, Saturday and Sunday are the only days Norman works on my car. He runs a regular bodyshop during the week and my car is at his house.
I am going way out on a limb and guessing Memorial day!
