AROWHEAD
What year heads do you have on the engine. The vintage Air bracket mounts to the two bolt bosses on the side of the head. The Classic Auto Air bracket mounts to the bolt holes on the front of the head. This set up is on a 79 TA, using the stock GM AC. The only change is converting to a Sanden compressor, using the Vintage Air Snaden bracket http://www.vintageair.com/DownloadsS...%20PONTIAC.pdf Check out E-bay seller, Classic auto Air http://www.classicautoair.com/downlo...ntiac6-403.pdf They offer any combination of hose and fittings.

Either thats a new one, or an old one, or they have more that one Pontiac application because my VA bracket, installed new 2 yrs ago, mounts to the front only.

The link is to the latest Vintage Air on line catalog. Maybe there are two bracket listings. I know the the AC compressor mounting changed in 1969. Prior to 69 the AC bracket bolted to the engine with two special head bolts. in 69 the AC bracket bolted to two bosses cast in the side of the head. Do you have a PN. or post a photo of the bracket

For now I have a 455 with 1971 '96' heads, so I have all bolt options available. Hopefully soon will be changing to a new engine with E-heads, but should still be able to bolt anywhere.
