The other thing I noticed on several of the tags posted here is that the letter in the date code is much smaller than the numbers. My Pontiac built 68 is in storage right now so I can't check it, but I would swear the letter is the same height/font as the numbers. Anyone have thoughts on that?

I didn't notice that. The letter in my Freemont built car is the same size as the number.

Typically the month and week codes are the same size and font but I have seen them as posted here (week code smaller).

I don't think it means anything or that there is anything "suspect" about it.
