I have one of these as well but it's buried out in the garage. I never noticed this until I saw the tumbnail. There are 2 holes in the starter location that look very close to where the bellhousing mounted early starter would bolt up to. I drug out Pete McCarthy's book and looked at the drawing for the adapter plate and those holes in the block plate sure look they're in the same location.
