Blueghost--what kind of master cylinder are you using and how did you get it to hang so level? Project is looking good!!!

The master cyl. is for a 67-68 firebird manual brakes. I wanted it to look some what original. I had a friend of mine make me a wedge out of a piece of alluminuim and I mounted my master cyl. on the top bolts instead of the bottom ones for more clearance for the lines and so I could run them inside of the fender wells so it would give that orignal kind of look. Worked out pretty well. Theres more about it in the earlier pages on this sight and pictures too. GT. |

Nice setup! Did you elongate the through hole in the firewall and is the pushrod at an angle! John

I used a hole saw and drilled another hole above.
It actually is about a 1/4 inch into the lower hole. The rod to the master cyl. is straight to the brake pedal with good alignment as there were two holes on my brake pedal. So the geometrie is right on. GT. |
