Jeff, not dissing you. I know all about that water hose coming off deal having seen several dyno tests at Steve's shop where the engine was trying to tell us it was not happy.
Brian's engine for one, when the "crooked tree" heads failed the head gasket. Steve thought the engine needed more timing like a BB Chebby. It turned out it made best power with the timing number I recommended. I think that a set of "V-Heads" would work well with boost Tom Vaught
