Shelbyville, Indiana, up until a few years ago, was home to both the world's tallest woman, Sandy Allen, and the world's oldest woman, whose name escapes me right now. Both were living at the same nursing facility at the time (both, sadly, passed away within a few months of each other as well). I remember Sandy Allen, she was a Senior when I was a Freshman in Shelbyville High School.

Nothing to be proud of ,for sure ,but how about top 5 for last 15 years for "Most Dangerous City" to live in.Really not as bad as advertised.
