I've seen them Jack but wonder why the upper control arms are included in the kit, and no disc brake backing plates are included. Usually the disc brake spindles are included too. CH28689 and CH28690 kits.. correct?

I do know the original drum spindles must be modified too for the changeover.

No upper control arms, those are caliper mounts.
I bought the CH28690 for power brakes. CH28689 is for non power.
Backing plates I am not sure about as everything is still in boxes till it gets above 50 degrees outside.
I bought every suspension part brand new (except torsion bar) , so my car should ride and handle like a new 67 with front discs when done.

When you get to it to do it keep us informed... with pictures. I'm planning on doing the conversion too, hopefully sometime this summer. But no power brakes... tho hydro boost might be in the cards for the future.

I didn't use his stuff on my 66 GTO only because I had already purchased a SSBC I would have saved a lot of cash with Scarebirds Product

I set my car up both ways for what ever mood im in and for car shows

so with the SSBC I had to buy a set of 15 cragers for the front was already running 15 in the rear 14 in the front
and a set of 15 rally 1 with tires so you can see the savings added up quick

Break down I would have saved nearly $1500.00 going with Scarebird
