Ive had alot of fuel pump problems(not just 4th gens) from the gasahol crap and cars that sit for extended periods. that said,on beater 4th gens(yours not included) I cut an access panel to replace and it then turns into a 30 min job.

I was reading where quite a few people have done that. I don't want to but even if I did the vert has a different floor and I wouldn't know where to cut.

I have seen a template around one of the other forums

check ls1lt1 or ltxtech or even ls1tech

Tried that. No luck for a vert. Its too late now anyway. The back of the car is in pieces now.

I always use the excuse of having the car apart to get new parts, haha
