I'll bring that up during the meeting for the registration tables. Maybe that will makes the lines move quicker.
The only draw back I can personally see, is if a guy with a 66 GTO might pay and then park in the 1966-67 GTO section. Then when he goes to register, he discovers his class should be 1966-67 GTO Mod. Now he's got to move his car. Plus he might leave a hole in the 66-67 GTO line that should be filled.
Do the shows that use the procedure you suggested have designated areas for each class?

Friday is a cruise-in and cruise.

The 3 Car shows (All Pontiac show, All Mustang show, Musclecar & Truck show) are on Saturday. The All Pontiac show is by far the biggest of the 3 shows.

There is also an All Pontiac Race Day at Maple Grove Raceway on Sunday.

All marquees are welcome. Antiques, Classics or New are also welcome.

YUP!! That is the cool part. If you have never been to the PY warehouse, the area that surrounds it is enormous! You will not be disappointed with the registration fee!

Steve Many shows will have you pay then as you enter the show field, parkers will assist you to the correct class, you park then go to the registration table to get your packet or goodybag. Many have 2 lines at the table: one pre-registered with prepared packets etc with names on them and one day of.

2 lines forming entering the show field too, one pre-reg where a list of names are on a paper and are checked off, the other is where the folks pay. This will expedite a long line of folks entering the show.

Steve, to add to what Vic stated, as you enter the show you are asked questions about modifications and then told what class you are in. I have chrome wheels on my car so I was thrown in semi modified.

I will be most likely there at the booth. I will take complaints!! as well as your registration...

More clipboards and pens. That way you can fill out the paperwork THEN get in line. Not glogging up the table by standing there. Or fill it out in line. Either way, more people who are not pre-registered filling out paperwork faster by using said pens.

P.S. If you are preregistered, there was a separate line for both you at the table and your car. Last year if you were pre-registered, you were in line all of 30 seconds to 1 minute.

WOW! nice prizes I sure could use that Pypes Exhaust certificate , seeing how my Challenger is getting Pypes installed during the show.
