But that doesn't mean I don't know what "good" is at that level. I personally know drivers that have performed better than Danica in the same levels as Danica. They don't have a full time Cup ride. That is my beef. |

P.S. Remember, she is qualifying for the races. There have ALWAYS been driver's that were better than others.

And... Life isn't fair. There will be someone else filling her shoes in that position when she leaves. As we've all said, the disproportionate attention is because of her looks and she is articulate, i.e. she's good in front of the camera. That is what the sponsor wants. If you haven't noticed the sport is about money. The fact that people are still watching her and talking about her proves she is a good investment for the sponsor. She qualifies for races, be it low or high, they almost don't care as long as she gets the "name" on T.V. Racing has been that way for a long time. Personally, if I had the ideal race it would be Top Fuel drag racing with a bunch of Linda Vaughn and "Jungle" Pam types out there driving half naked. I don't care how well they drive just give me the show! Noise, horsepower and BIG BOOBS! YEE HAA! LOL! As Jeff Foxworthy said, You want to know what a man is thinking? He's thinking I want a beer and to see something naked... LOL!I'll tell you what, if F1 had a "Danica" they would use her too. I love Pink Floyd, "Money" is one of my favorite songs.

I enjoy good competitive racing. You only want to see T&A. And seeing as how you like "BIG BOOBS" - what is it about Danica that you find appealing? It's revolting, but the kid on the left has bigger boobs than Danica... ![]()

Not entirely true, it was either last year or early this year, she didn't have enough owner points and rain was going to determine starting position, so Tony went and bought the owner points from one of Baldwin racings teams so she could be in the race. Thats just plain pathectic

Tony bought Baldwin's owner points to guarantee Danica would make the first 5 races. NASCAR rules dictate that the top 36 get in on speed, then the next 6 (or possibly 7) are determined by owners points. She failed to qualify on speed for 4 of the first 5 races. Had it not been for "buying" points, Danica would not have raced in Phoenix (qualified 40th), Vegas (37th), Bristol (41st) or California (40th). Failing to qualify to run in 4 of the 1st 5 races would have also caused her to miss the races in Texas (42nd), Darlington (40th) and Dover (39th). So, in fact, she has only qualified to run in 7 races this season. If you take away the points from those 7 races that she didn't earn a starting spot, and Danica would be lose 102 points. That would drop her from 246 to 144 and instead of being in 28th position in the points, she would be in 38th. The only drivers behind her in the points would be Michael McDowell, Timmy Hill, Scott Speed, Michael Waltrip and Terry Labonte inside the top 43 spots. |

![]() Stop the presses - Blind squirrel finds acorn... In an effort for full disclosure - let's list the qualifying position earned on the track for the other races... Martinsville - 32nd Kansas - 25th Richmond - 30th Charlotte - 24th Now if your good at math, you'll realize that there are still two races I haven't listed. Why? That's because qualifying was rained out at Talladega and Pocono. Without the points garnered from the races she failed to qualify on speed on, she would not have started 22nd at Talladega or 30th at Pocono. |
