Ive looked and looked. Ive posted on Facebook asking if anyone knows the car and Ive got no response. Still looking though.

I have looked on Facebook as well without success. I appreciate your looking. Now. onto the Sunday update. I got my refund from YearOne on the 17" wheels and I spent $178.00 on a breaker-less ignition conversion from M&H. It took me 2 hours to install it and set the timing. I ended up taking the distributor out of the car to do it. It was much easier that way and I only got it off one notch when I put it back in! I fixed that and the car runs fine.
But, I have an issue with the transmission. When it gets hot it starts slipping between first and second gear shifts. The shop owner that built the tranny for me told me to bring the car back in and he would fix the problem. I told him he could do it at his convenience so I am waiting on a call to get it to the shop. I still drive the car but I take it easy.

No wonder the wheels fit. They used 245/40/17s. They also recommended that I put spring spacers in the rear coils. I did not want that look.

I am getting my A/C underhood parts together so I can start putting them on the car. I bought a drier and POA valve from Pacecarjeff.com and was very pleased with the look of them. I still need to get the lines and hoses as well as route the vacuum lines and hook up the wiring. The vacuum lines I will need a lot of guidance on as they weren't on the car when I got it so I don't know how and where what goes.
But, I have faith that Y'all will lead me in the right direction.
I will update totals next week if I have anything more to add. Y'all have a good one.

I didn't get any more parts ordered or anything done to the car this week. It has rained almost every day. It's all I can do to keep the grass cut. I have given up on trying to weed the flower beds! I will order some stuff this week and will update totals next week.

I think this is the coolest build log I've ever followed. I wish I would've kept track of all the time and money I've got into my goat so far but I've lost track a few years back. I've been using your log for a lot of direction on my frame off resto!

Well, between rain and work I did not get anything done on the car this week. I did buy a POA valve bracket from Andre and a drier bracket from an outside vendor. I am going to order my lines this week but will post a couple questions in a different thread.
Since my last update I have spent $317.00 on parts and that is it. I will update totals next week.

I know that's right! We went to the Saturday Cruise-in in my wife's new Camry! Everyone else that showed up were also driving their daily drivers! And, because no one drove their "good" cars the rain held off!

22 straight days with at least one rain shower each day and the forecast is for more of the same. Needless to say the car has only been out of the shop for a few brief rides. I still have to order some of my A/C parts but that will have to wait. My wife and I are leaving Wednesday for Maryland to attend my 45th high school reunion.
Then, we are coming back through Kentucky to in see my last remaining brother. After that we are headed to LaGrange, Ga. on Monday to get my mother-in-law out of the nursing home and take her to supper for her birthday. She'll be 79.
We'll be back home Tuesday and I will order the rest of my A/C stuff then.
I probably won't make a post next Sunday so Y'all be good, have fun and I'll post again in a couple weeks.
