We wasted 2 years waiting on you to do something with em. You may be a good engine builder, but as we all now know you really aren't capable to do r&d work. You're much better at picking up the phone and using someone else's product. You and your brother from another mother Lou are the biggest detriment to these heads. BTW you are the ONLY ONE to go slower with these heads. Just sayin

... WOW ... ![]() ... I do like how he thinks since the very first day Roland got his hands on a casting, they were under "Development", lol the actual time the CV-1 was available, was March of 2008, which by my CV-1 Calculator is a little over 5 years ... ... The Race Shop released it's CNC CV-1 based on a porters casting mid-2009, which actually flowed 385cfm by the way, which most people do not consider to be any kind of development for this head ... ... my work did not really begin until 2010, and even then it pales in comparison to what has happened in the last year ... |

Actually I got screwed out of Ten grand with stepping up with the heads and not following thru on a commitment to go X275 racing with them. Everyone else just wants to play with em. So we will never know the capability of them. Might have been able to put em on the map. Never know now. Last edited by PONTIAC DUDE; 07-18-2013 at 03:04 PM. |

The simple FACT was the set of CV1's that Ken had sucked. You can only throw so much time and money at a turd. He tried a set of Dave's off the shelf heads and the car went quicker. That was called a TEST, as in back to back testing, kind of like Dick just did.

Another No nothing about what the deal was back then with Roland Racing. Load your phuckin brain before ya shoot off your mouth. I've had enough of opinions without any clue what the deal was. Had nothing to do with working the heads. It was supposed to be a swap to see what difference the CV-1's made over E-heads basically out or the box for the money spent!!!!!!!!!! I did have to really work the intake (one of the first one's off the presses) thou to just get it to work. The deal was .................... Out of the Box heads and see what they will do. Yo duh. Get you facts straight before ya shoot off your mouth. Another he said, she said rumor monger. I didn't get to do R & D as I was hung out to dry when I was stepping up to the next phase of the CV-1 race program. PERIOD. If they are your wet dream, then go fer it. |
