I could almost swear that someone posted a photo of an '68/'69 el Camino with a '68 GTO front clip a month or two ago. Wherever I saw it, it looked great.

Actually a Le Mans ( or is it an El Mans) but you get the idea. I used to have scans from a magazine article, but no more.
Having owned a couple of Elky's, I always wanted to do this myself. I always figured wagon parts would be the way to go for door skins. http://www.chevelles.com/elcamino/ec_lemans.htm

Sometime ago ..... somebody posted pics of a 69 El GTO JudgeCamino .
Orange with Hideaway headlights looked pretty darn spiffy too same thread had one or two 442Caminos also |

I saw one about a week ago in Hockessin, DE. Might be the same one in the photos posted earlier. It was light yellow with a black roof. It was following a black Chevelle SS vert. I was just crossing thru an intersection and it was on the cross street so I couldn't get up close. Looked nice.
