Now, let's look at NASCAR, shall we? These are all 2012 stats.

Atlanta-99,000 DOWN from 124,000 in 2011
Auto Club-84,000 DOWN from 95,000 in 2011

Daytona-147,000 DOWN from 159,000 in 2011. To be REDUCED to 101,000 by 2016
Dover-133,000 1st race: 85,000 2nd race: 85,000 DOWN from 133,000 in 2008

Texas-138,122 1st race:168,400 2nd race:151,100 2008 attendance: 191,000 and 183,500 respectively
Pocono-70,000 1st race:105,000 2nd race:85,000 2008 attendance: 105,000 and 130,000 respectively

Now, for the LARGEST track NASCAR sees: Indianapolis Motor Speedway
2012 seating: 230,000 DOWN from 257,000 in 2011
NASCAR attendance: 125,000 2007 NASCAR attendance: 270,000. A 54% DECLINE in attendance in 5yrs
2012 IndyCar attendance: 300,000+
From 2011 to 2012, total NASCAR seating (minus the 27,000 reduction in seating @ IMS) DECLINED 148,000 seats. That's 1,000 MORE seats than Daytona currently HAS. Your response?
