The suede paint actually has a texture to it that you can't duplicate with a flat black out of a spray bomb. The spray bomb will give you the right color, but not the texture.

True, I tried it on my LeMans when I was 19. I remember the original dash top looked fuzzier than my rattle can could reproduce, but level of gloss (none) appeared the same.

Is there some type of additive in the paint for the top of the dash to make is look like suede?
