Never heard that claim that the '76 was the 'best' 400....didn't think a whole lotta people were cloning Formulas either...Still, nice project.

I have always like the looks of the 73 Formula nose.
Unless the bird is a transplant from a dryer climate then what we have out here, my guess is it has some rot issues

Taillights are 79 but not from a TA or Formula. 79 was the only year without the 'Bird emblem in the fuel door. 80 and 81 had it.
