Okay, we agree it's a 400/350, now:

No engine size on block, should be pre-'69.
Two motor mount holes, '69 or earlier.
670 heads/XH code, denotes '67 GP 350 hp.
'69 GP 400/350 would have 62 heads.
The VIN configuration? I don't know, everything else contradicts what you said.

Shame on me? Come on Chris, I might be wrong but the majority of the evidence points to a '67.
