Shame on you both - that's a 69 or 70 400 cid 350 hp big car/Grand Prix block with 670 heads on it.

Leading zero in the EUN but not yet shaped like a C as it appeared in 71.

Okay, we agree it's a 400/350, now:

No engine size on block, should be pre-'69.
Two motor mount holes, '69 or earlier.
670 heads/XH code, denotes '67 GP 350 hp.
'69 GP 400/350 would have 62 heads.
The VIN configuration? I don't know, everything else contradicts what you said.

Shame on me? Come on Chris, I might be wrong but the majority of the evidence points to a '67.

6 digit EUN 68 & earlier
7 digit EUN 69 & later

Just because there are 670 coded heads on it does not make it a 67. Based on the motor mount holes I'm calling 69.

This is a 79 10th Anniversary TA project...

It is a correct and matching 403 with an automatic transmission.

Taillights are 79 but not from a TA or Formula. 79 was the only year without the 'Bird emblem in the fuel door. 80 and 81 had it.

Ebay ad.

A Ford Falcon accented with parts taken off some rice-racer's Honda Civic along with some hubcaps bought a Chief Auto Parts in the late 80's. (I had an '84 Cutlass Ciera with those. I spent a lot of time chasing them down streets.)

This is also a good lesson in reading ads carefully: "I won! I need to pick it up where???"
