Cool car. Moldings destroyed the value immensely. |

looked again at the ebay ad, first time I didn't see all the pictures below... oh the agony of all the holes in the car.
question: if one was to remove trim and fill holes, is there high tech substitute for welding that is acceptable? question 2: regardless of hole fill method, would this repair commit to a total repaint of car having this type color where the rest of car is nice? I (coincidently) have same exact issue on my Esprit, except thank God not the magnitude around wheels etc.... being white I am hoping a partial paint will be fine...

Here we go again,
For the Fisher Body Plant Week A = 1st thru 7th Week B = 8th thru 14th Week C = 15th thru 21st Week D = 22nd thru 28th Week E = 29th thru 31st Friday must be when the body was completed. Rest was probably completed on Monday. PHS invoicing will probably say shipped date is 06-02-70 to 06-05-70. Conformance decal printing is off, but everything looks spaced properly and would look normal if correctly positioned. |

So what day did they put the moldings on?

i don't have the blueprints for the build weeks - and only seen 1 example of an F build week. PY member has a 64 or 65 or 66 A body with an F build week.
The old crash box has a picture of it saved... iirc Wish i could just remember the month and year ![]() So only 1 known exception to your graph Ransom. Not bad at all for a PMD factoid ! |

My main reason to point out the date difference is simply that this is not often seen. I have data on 871 '70 Firebirds at present & very few show different months from the one location to the other. I've wondered if occasionally a body built at Fisher could have gotten damaged & needed repair before being sent over for final build out, accounting for some lag time. |
