Are you not getting enough throw to release the pressure plate? Get someone in it while you are under it. It looks like you have the short throw out bearing too. Where did you get the parts?

the kit was from napa.
the fork came from another member here on the forums.
i'm disassembling again and will post photos today.
thanks for sticking with me on this.
