Pecan block flooring. Almost completely gone now in modern factories. My plant recently tore up the last remaining aisle that was pecan. Those blocks would eject themselves out of the floor when wet.

They are slippery when wet, and greasy, too.

I used to take my shoes off and set them in the pickup box before I would get in my truck at the end of each workday (...and it had vinyl flooring).

Me too. I had a paper ream box that I kept my boots in.
