Thanks Jim for the clarification, I stand corrected. That is something I didn't know about. I'm surprised they didn't offer the 15x7 steel wheels like in '72 & '73. Dan and I were wondering if the 15x7 Honeycombs were eventually available on the '71 GTO's since you could order 15" Rally II's throughout the model year.

Thanks, Dennis

You know it. As Brewster said, I know a guy that knows a little bit about 455 HO's.

Sounds like the SD's will just be a small speck in your rear view mirror...

2many,

Yeah, it's kinda hard to see it go down the road, but I was getting really paranoid about driving it with the crazy value it was getting. I really am looking forward to driving (and enjoying) a less valuable car. I'm not sure the HO Formula's will long qualify as less valuable, but at least for now. I will miss the dropped jaws at the TA Nats when people watched you pull into the host hotel parking lot and couldn't believe it was driven 350 miles.

But, knowing it has gone to a really good home and is going to be restored correctly is comforting. It will be a contender with Brewsters former SD.
