Before we laugh at the previous Buick "computer data cabling" let's reflect on the sheer size of previous IBM Computer mainframe tech

I could be remembering wrong, but I don't recall being around an IBM with the cardreader on the mainframe? What model is that?

I'm not at that facility any more but - yes - that looks like the original barrier at the Milford Proving Ground.

It was an outdoor cement block/slab just off the Ride & Handling loop. We are, of course, much more sophisticated than that now.
