"Magical Mystery Tour" is an awful, awful movie. Blasted by the media and the press at the time, it was the first unmitigated flop of their career. McCartney was responsible for the film, and decided to work without a script, preferring to ad lib and "see what happens" when they take a bus across the English countryside. Unfortunately, nothing much happened.

But a few great clips of them lip-syncing to some great tunes.
Cool Mike. What's the link to your Beatles thread?

Don't know if there is one. I've just been a fan my whole life. I was reading books about them long before the web came along, and have an extensive collection of original albums and solo material. Probably 95% of all the books that have come out on The Beatles over the past 15 years (and there's probably 100 of them) are simply rehashes of older books, reworded and plagiarized, but people keep buying them so I guess they keep writing 'em.

I followed the Ford drag team as we had a brand new 1968 Torino GT Big Block...below is from April 1969 Car Craft which I - as a 9 going on to 10 yr old
then - owned a copy when magazine was published new in '69...

I could be remembering wrong, but I don't recall being around an IBM with the cardreader on the mainframe? What model is that?
