Bubba was just on Dish channel 265 . He mentioned being at the drag races in Hallsville, TX, where we use to race. His dad was a real good body man and raced a lot. So Bubba got to go to the races with his dad, from a young age.

At a Hallsville race, a guy wrecked a '58 Vette. He bought the Vette and talked his dad into fixing it for him. His dad was one of the 1st body guys GM trained to fix the FG body of the Vettes.

Bubba said his dad built several cars that made it into some of the car mags. Hey, it's just a little "Bubba trivia".

Default '59 Bonneville Video

Here's a link to the Video where Bubba recounts the story of their Oklahoma trip in the '59 Bonneville. I think some of you guys may enjoy this video.

Default Correction

I finally got a chance to watch the video again, and discovered that the Pontiac was a '69 Bonneville, instead of a '59.

Doesn't change what happened any, but just thought I'd better make the correction anyhow.

Also, here's a link to the video, where Bubba tells about his dad and the wrecked Vette at Hallsville.

Here's another video I just watched, this am, on BVOV channel 265, on Dish.

It's Bubba telling about what happened one day, when he was working on his '57 Chevy drag car, preparing for a race at Hallsville.

In this last video, he talks about a classic car museum he started in Fort Worth. I can't find any info on it on the web or on his website. Do you know anything about it?

I assume it is just his private collection. I just listened to that part again. He called it his shop. His wife said "Stop calling it a shop. It's a museum." So, as far as I know, it is not open to the public.
