Mine was most definitely butyl, and came out pretty easy. I need a little repair, and oddly on the top of window frame, not bottom where you would expect. I know this car sat for a long time, and likely had garbage/debri piled on top of the car. Should be able to do a good job with some MarineTex, etc.

When reinstalling, I do plan on having my local Harmon shop do it with Urethane. On my front windshield, the entire glass slipped down after sitting out on a hot day. PO installed it with Butyl, and did not have one of the lower block plates in place. Had the lower rest plate been there, probably would have been fine. But, Harmon reinstalled it with UR, so not going anywhere now
