You do know Orbit orange was a Judge only color, right?

Well, no. I didn't know that.
I did read in the DeMauro book that " Carousel Red was made famous in 1969 by Judge, so Orbit Orange was offered as a special judge color for the 1970 model year." Also, in that same book, DeMauro mentions that in 1969 and after February, that any GTO hue could be had for a Judge. If a buyer in 1970 wanted a non-Judge GTO could he order it as a special paint code option? Interesting. |

I was planning to change/ modify if the engine/ trans was 400/ automatic 400.

Yes, the T/A was a great car and I miss how it looked, handled and especially how comfortable the deluxe seats were. I sold it to a great caretaker who prefers to remain incognito.
