Take a piece of fuel line or other rubber hose, cut it length-wise, and put it on the arm behind the pedal. Zip tie or safety wire.
If you need more throw and/or shorter pedal travel, drill a hole 1" down on the z-bar arm that the rod that goes to the fork is on. Moving it will give it a longer throw for the same pedal movement. .
