Seems like these cars came in a lot of configurations of options. I could see A/C being skipped over back then, wasn't it around $500? big option back then. That car is showing pretty good money for something that needs restoration with a lot of unknowns. Looks pretty legit, but a few things that look worrying like the rust though on on the top of the fender. I'm guessing the bottom side is in need of some work too? IS the vin stamped on the top by the head? mine are all down by the radiator return hose.
Anyone know if that is standard floor insulation, or might this car have the acoustical sound deadening option BS1 ?

It's a Canadian car - I just realized - so up here AC was often passed over in favor of "just roll the window down". My Canadian-ordered '77 Bandit SE W72 4 speed was ordered with no AC or radio. |

Here's how I liked the y88, on a trip to Cedar Point in Ohio the bus broke down, we ended up at a Pontiac Dealer in Ohio, while waiting for the repair, I walked around and looked at cars, I almost bought a 75 Esprit earlier that summer, I saw a Gold car sitting out front of the dealer, doors unlocked, it was a new Y88, I remember sitting in it looking at that gold dash, I was 17 at the time, I had to have one, lol I bought mine in 79 with 11,000 miles on it, it still has some pc's of plastic that was on the seats still here and there.
